Thu, Nov 16, 12:30 to 1:50pm, Marriott, Room 406, 4th Floor

Session Submission Type: Complete Thematic Panel

Abstract

Critical infrastructure, such as healthcare and power grids, all rely on computer technology, which makes them highly vulnerable to cyberattackers. Unfortunately, the frequency of cyberattacks against critical infrastructure is increasing at an alarming rate.

This panel looks at cyberattacks against critical infrastructures, with a focus on (i) human behavior, decision-making, and group dynamics, (ii) temporal assessments of cyberattack processes, and (iii) legal issues related to critical infrastructure protection and compliance.
