Roundtable: The Challenges of Publication in Teaching/Service Focused University Environments

Abstract

This roundtable addresses some of the key challenges associated with the publication of academic research in teaching- and service-focused university environments. Panel members will discuss their experiences with publishing academic work including challenges and strategies for success in the publish-or-perish academic setting. The discussion will focus on lessons learned and approaches for moving forward towards publication in diverse university settings and through various types of publication outlets.
