Abstract

This thematic panel will discuss findings on several topic areas using the 2010 National Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Survey (NISVS) data. The following topics will be discussed: heightened risk for victimization among emerging adults and their victim service needs; polyvictimization and health outcomes; association between relationship status, race, and victimization type; violence prevention efforts through examination of the association between relationship status, race, and victimization type; stalking patterns between intimate and non-intimate partners; and the examination of the psychometric properties of NISVS measures.
