Abstract

Over the decades, the advancement of social media and computer-mediated communication tools have brought a revolutionary change in our social life. Unfortunately, cybercriminals are actively expanding their scope of criminal activity and/or deviance from the physical realm to the virtual world using social media platforms. This panel aims to discuss the risk factors of social media and the effective criminal justice responses reflecting international perspectives.
