School’s Out: Mechanisms of the School-to-Prison Pipeline

Abstract
In this session we consider mechanisms of the school-to-prison pipeline using data from four large-scale longitudinal studies. We focus on the interplay between misbehavior, official punishment (i.e., suspension and arrest), youth networks, school outcomes, and future delinquency.
