Session Submission Type: Complete Thematic Panel

Abstract

This panel presents results from an ongoing, NIJ-funded school-based intervention program in a southeastern county. The program is a comprehensive mental health program designed to improve school climate and safety. The studies in this panel examine the relationship between school climate, disorder, and student behavior and consider how important factors measured at different levels (e.g.,student, teacher, school, community) impact these relationships. The implications of these results will also be discussed.
