Abstract

This panel explores the intersections of gender, race and ethnicity in formerly incarcerated individuals’ experiences of reentry and reintegration. Studies examine women’s narratives of their prison experience, comparative analysis of reentry for women from different racial and ethnic backgrounds, comparative analysis of the social relationships of formerly incarcerated men and women, and avenues for giving back for formerly incarcerated men.
