Panelists will describe the recent efforts to redesign the National Crime Victimization Survey (NCVS) sample and instrumentation. This panel will include findings from recent cognitive testing activities focused on improving the crime screener and crime incident report instruments, and updates on BJS’ efforts to generate subnational estimates. In addition, panelists will discuss recent developments in BJS’ Victim Services Statistical Research Program.
