Abstract
Surveillance is becoming an increasingly relevant topic in today's society. This thematic panel presents research from multiple perspectives on surveillance, including the GPS surveillance tracking of sex offenders, findings on racialized surveillance in the lives of African-Americans, and the surveillance of activists by fusion centers, law enforcement agencies, and private companies.
