Roundtable: New Directions in Critical Youth Justice Studies

Abstract

Participants in this roundtable will discuss their research on young people in the youth justice and education systems. Drawing on qualitative research, the participants will explore the rhetoric and logics of youth justice in the neoliberal moment-- as well as young people's perceptions of the social control they experience.
