Roundtable: Abolition Lessons from the Streets: Related Campaigns in Philadelphia

Abstract

The purpose of this roundtable is to connect scholar-activists traveling to Philadelphia for the ASC conference with local abolitionists and their work. The objective is to build relationships with and give a platform to invited local abolitionist projects: The MOVE Organization, Earth First! Prisoner Support Project, Decarcerate PA, and Philly Survivor Support Collective. The focus is on exchanging ideas and practices that will further our common work, collective knowledge, and mutual praxis towards the goals of abolition.
