Police use of force and race continues to garner significant public and scholarly attention. While much of this interest centers on race from a White and Black perspective, there is much less attention with respect to Latinos. Drawing on data collected from the Assessing Police Use of Force Policy and Outcomes project, a multi-agency use of force study, the present inquiry examines police use of force focusing on Latino officers and citizens. A discussion of the findings and implications are offered in an attempt to inform on this body of research.
