Mounting evidence regarding procedural justice suggests that the quality of treatment by criminal justice personnel is closely related to an individual’s willingness to comply with legal authorities. The results indicate that inmates who felt they were treated in a procedurally fair manner in prison were less likely to be involved in misconduct.
