Fri, Nov 16, 8:00 to 9:20am, Marriott, A707, Atrium Level

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between social media presence and cyber victimization using a sample of undergraduate students. The data was obtained through self-report surveys of students who provided information on their social media presence, cyber activities, and cyber victimization. Regression will be used to examine how student time spent on and on social media impacts their victimization online. Policy implications will be discussed.
