Organized Crime has continued to be a major problem in different parts of the world. China, Italy and United States have had their own share of the menace. In this study we undertook a multivariate analysis of organized crimes in the three countries, selected from three different continents. Thirty years data retrieved from various data bases indicate a decrease in organized crime incidents in the United States and an increase in organized crime incidents in China and Italy. We suspect that increase in law enforcement against the activities of organized criminals in the United States, may have led to a decrease in the rate of organized crime. However, other factors or outliers may be responsible for the upward turn in the other two countries. This research addressees the underlying causes of organized crime, trends in organized crime and governments’ strategies to counter organized crime in these three countries.
