Mentors in the Multi-College Bystander Efficacy Evaluation (McBEE) Mentoring Community were connected with junior scholars based on similar research interests related to violence against women. Each group, a hive, included 4 or 5 individuals from universities across the nation. After almost three years, mentors from 3 hives share their experiences, including what they expected, the value of this model, and surprises along the way. Discussion also will include ideas for moving forward with this successful model of growing the next generation of violence against women researchers.
