As cybercrime has evolved it has become an increasingly complex set of practices where criminal producers and suppliers are connected with criminal consumers in ways that often resemble an integrated economy. In this panel we consider some of the elements that might contribute towards an economic analysis of cybercrime. We utilize a tripartite approach focusing upon the relations between labor, commodities and revenue generation within this emerging cybercrime economy.
