Trajectories of Alcohol Use Across the Life-Course in the Add Health

Abstract

This paper examines trajectories of alcohol use across five waves of data in the Add Health study. Distinct patterns of alcohol use emerge among males and females utilizing group-based trajectory modeling. Several time-stable covariates predict trajectory group membership differently for males and females.
