In early 2022, the media was covered with news about the Ukraine and Russia wars. On February 24th, 2022, Russia “invaded Ukraine from three fronts in the biggest assault on a European state since World War Two'' (Reuters, 2022). As of April 3rd, 2022, 1,417 civilians died, including 22 girls, 40 boys, and 59 children (UN Human Rights, 2022). Of course, these numbers are higher as time passes by. As of April 22nd, over 5.2 million refugees have left Ukraine (UN Datahub, 2022). To properly assist these refugees, many countries, organizations, and private corporations have worked to help them. This research will look specifically into the different responses of refugees who need educational assistance. The UN SDG specifically implies through Goal 4 to “ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.” (UN SDG, 2022) Examining the various implications of helping Ukrainian refugees pursue quality education is a universal goal that all humanity should work on. This paper will further discuss how these organizations and individuals are implementing their response to educational problems for refugees in detail.
