Preventing child sex trafficking remains an urgent concern for public health and criminal justice professionals. However, little information is available regarding effective prevention strategies. Drawing upon the crime scripting approach, this study aims to identify heterogeneous subtypes of child sex traffickers (CSTs) and methods used at each phase of the victim recruitment process to inform prevention strategies.
