An increasing body of research has highlighted the significance of the collaboration between criminal justice practitioners and residents to enhance the quality of life in the community. However, little research has focused on the nexus between immigrant communities within the community justice movement model from the practitioners’ perspective. Using data collected from the law enforcement agencies in three metropolitan cities in the U.S., the current study is the first pilot study exploring the impacts of community justice on the new pattern of Chinese immigrant groups. We found a gap needed to be filled between police officers and Chinese immigrants when implementing community justice practices in the new century. An incorporated model of community justice in the Chinese immigrant community is suggested to heighten the awareness of diversity and inclusion. The current research findings will shed light on the variety of immigrant communities' policing strategies.
