Abstract/Description

Empirical research on cybercrime has grown in recent years, yet little is known regarding the (mis)beliefs and (mis)perceptions individuals hold related to cybercrimes. This roundtable brings together experts—including cybercrime scholars and cybercrime practitioners who have extensive experience working with cybercrime victims, offenders, and investigations—to discuss the variety of (mis)beliefs and (mis)perceptions, along with how these perspectives can be altered through education and awareness opportunities.
