Abstract/Description
Measuring sex trafficking and understanding the nature of sex trafficking victimization are perennial challenges, owing to the overt nature of this crime. However difficult, understanding the scope and nature of sex trafficking is critical to planning for and implementing adequate prevention and intervention strategies. An added challenge is that the modes of exploitation and the social factors that impact vulnerability to trafficking are always evolving. This panel includes three studies that explore these complexities.
