Abstract

This study analyzes the rhetoric surrounding the Utah Medical Cannabis Act which passed in 2018. Main ideas from both sides of the issue will be examined by using media reports about the bill leading up to the state legislative session in 2018. This examination will identify key ideologies, significant support groups, and perceived social impacts.
