The job demands-resources model classifies workplace variables into either job demands or job resources. Job demands make the job more difficult, increasing negative outcomes, such as job stress. Job resources make the job more successful and enjoyable, increasing positive outcomes, such as organizational trust. Organizational trust deals with the level of trust a person has with salient parts of the employing organization. The current study examined how job demands and job resources are related to organizational trust among officers at a prison in Nigeria. The results will be presented and discussed.
