Wed, Nov 13, 8:00 to 9:20am, Foothill E - 2nd Level

Abstract

Organizational justice is the perception of how fairly an organization treats a person employed at the organization. Feeling that the organization treats a person unfairly often results in psychological strain, and psychological strain can wear on a person, decreasing mental health. There are different dimensions of organizational justice. The current study examined how different dimensions of organizational justice were related to the mental health in terms of depression among staff at a Southern U.S. prison. The results will be presented and discussed.
