This study examines the trend of homeless victimization during and after the COVID-19 pandemic, focusing on assessing the differences in frequency and demographic characteristics of victimization experienced by homeless individuals between 2020 and 2022. Using multivariate analysis, we analyzed a purposive sample of 4,585 homeless individuals recorded as crime victims by police in Fort Worth, TX. The study concludes by exploring potential reasons for variation in homeless victimization and discussing potential crime reduction strategies.
