Abstract

This study delves into the phenomenon of state sponsorship of terrorism, with a specific focus on the relationship between the Indian establishment and the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), and its implications for regional security. It aims to investigate the extent of state involvement in promoting terrorism, aiming to uncover the motives and mechanisms behind the alleged collaboration between elements within the Indian establishment and the TTP. Employing a multidimensional approach, the research analyzes secondary sources elucidate the dynamics driving state sponsorship.The study's design encompasses a comprehensive examination of the historical context, motives, and mechanisms of the Indian-TTP nexus, drawing upon relevant data and information from intelligence reports, official statements, and academic literature. The findings underscore the significant impact of the Indian-TTP connection on the spread of terrorism in South Asia, particularly in Pakistan, exacerbating regional instability and security challenges.By shedding light on the dynamics of the Indian-TTP nexus, this research aims to provide valuable insights for policymakers and security practitioners, facilitating collective efforts to address terrorism and bolster regional stability.
