Examining the Impact of Female Sex Offenders on Victim Injury: Replication of a study

Abstract

Using NIBRS data from 2015-2021, this paper seeks to replicate and update prior research conducted by Budd and Bierie (2020) on female sexual offenders. More specifically, factors related to sexual assaults that result in severe, minor, or no injury will be examined and compared with the results from the original study to further our understanding of female sexual offenders.
