Organized Crime has continued to be a major problem in different parts of the world. China, Italy, and the United States have had their share of the menace. In this study, we undertook a multivariate analysis of organized crimes in three countries, selected from three different continents. Forty years of data retrieved from various sources indicates a decrease in organized crime incidents in the United States and an increase in organized crime incidents in China and Italy. We suspect that an increase in law enforcement against organized criminal activities in the United States may have led to a decrease in the rate of organized crime. However, other factors or outliers may be responsible for the upward swing of organized crime incidences in the other two countries. This research addresses the underlying causes, trends in organized crime, and governments’ strategies to counter organized criminal activities in subject countries.
