The current research investigates how charitable organizations participate within a violent context to evaluate how these charities worked to mobilize actors on January 6th, 2021. This study uses social network analysis to analyze the roles individuals and charitable organizations fulfilled in carrying out the January 6th insurrection. The analysis interprets actor position in the network using centrality measures to determine their strategic position within the network. Preliminary analysis has found four charitable organizations operating within the January 6th network. These actors intermingle within their clique and act as bridges between other groups within the network.
