The presentation is a result of the project TED2021-129356B-I00, funded by MCIN/AEI and the EU's NextGenerationEU/PRTR. It acts as a foundational exploration into the attitudes and perceptions surrounding the use of algorithmic tools in the judiciary, pinpointing potential innovation hurdles. This study reveals varying levels of acceptance across different groups: the general public, data and AI specialists, and legal professionals, with the latter expressing skepticism over concerns related to objectivity, fairness, and the observance of legal norms. It also underscores the integration challenges of these tools, spotlighting the task complexity and the critical need for a synergistic balance between automated processes and human oversight. In conclusion, the research advocates for a deliberate and informed approach from both the wider community and legal experts to effectively integrate algorithmic tools within the judicial framework, ensuring they complement rather than complicate the pursuit of justice.
