Developing a Transparent, Systematic, and Evidence-based Process and Set of Criteria for Care Standards

Abstract

OVC awarded a competitive cooperative agreement to Freedom Network USA to develop standards of care for anti-trafficking service providers. Under this award, RTI International conducted a literature review and created process guidance and criteria for development to support the drafting of the standards. The goal of this effort was to ensure the Standards of Care development was guided by a transparent, systematic and evidence-based process. RTI staff will provide an overview of their findings and analyses and describe the important role of process and guidance and criteria in the creation of evidence-informed standards.
