In order to draft the National Standards of Care for Anti-Trafficking Service Providers, FNUSA established a technical working group (TWG) inclusive of diverse perspectives and identities, including those of individuals with lived experience, members of underserved communities, communities of color, LGBTQ+ communities, and people with disabilities. The presenter will describe the role and operation of the TWG, and provide an overview of how the group applied the process guidance to identify seven key themes from the initial 15 identified in the RTI literature review. The presenter will also provide an overview of future steps in the drafting process, including public comment and implementation guidance and efforts to ensure the standards align with current research findings on best practices.
