My Radical Vision for an International CC Consortium

Abstract

Convict Criminology emerged as informal US-based organization in 1997. In the 2000s, Convict Criminology began to expand internationally beginning in Britain. Since that time, formal and informal CC groups have either emerged or in the developmental stages in Canada, Italy, Brazil, Australia, and Germany. This paper presents a vision for the establishment of an International CC Consortium that can serve to elevate the voices of people directly impacted by incarceration.
