Juvenile delinquency has been the focus of various scientific disciplines for many decades, posing significant challenges to state mechanisms, globally. This research attempts to investigate the complex and destressing phenomenon of Juvenile offenders and their interaction with the Criminal Justice System in Greece. Is there really an increasing trend of juvenile crime? Which minors break the law? When, where and how? What is their criminal treatment?
The aim of this research is to contribute to the comprehensive understanding of how to prevent and deal with the traumatic issue of juvenile delinquency in modern society while ensuring the safety and justice of society as a whole.
