Asian hate has a long history in western societies, and the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic seems to have intensified this deep-rooted stereotype, bias, and racial discrimination to its peak, especially against East-Asian. When it comes to topics about race and ethnicity, Asians are being disregarded most of the time. Additionally, Asians are absent or underrepresented in numerous fields. Racial discrimination against Asian, continually being shunned in topics related to race and ethnicity and the underrepresentation in certain fields lead me to explore what perpetuates the issues illustrated above.

CRT reveals the realm of the cycle of racism in the U.S. Taking the increase of violent crimes against Asian communities after COVID-19 pandemic as an example, this paper analyzes violence against Asian through the lens of CRT. It also elaborates on the reasons why addressing racial discrimination against Asian in the U.S. is vital and urgent. Lastly, this paper explains that CRT is the best fit to explain the systematic bias that affects disparate criminal justice outcomes.
