Examining court outcomes for adults such as sentence length, convictions, and charging decisions are common. However, similar examinations of juvenile court outcomes are less common since this data is more protected. This study uses a dataset of over 130,000 juvenile delinquency referrals between 2018 - 2022 to examine the criminal justice response to juvenile delinquency in a Midwestern state. Results and policy implications will be discussed.
