This study aims to explore the factors that contribute to sexual exploitation among individuals subjected to human trafficking. Specifically, it investigates the impact of traffickers' methods of control, the types of sexual services involved, the nature of relationships with recruiters, and the age groups of female victims. The data, spanning from 2002 to 2019, were obtained from anonymized public records provided by the Counter-Trafficking Data Collaborative (CTDC), a global repository for information collected by anti-trafficking organizations. Furthermore, the study addresses potential policy implications stemming from its findings.
