Prior research has demonstrated how both individual factors and organizational context can influence the implementation of evidence-based practices (EBPs) (Debus-Sherrill, Breno, & Taxman, 2021; Farrell, Young, & Taxman., 2011; Friedmann, Taxman, and Henderson, 2007; Henderson and Taxman, 2009; Lambert, 2004; Lundgren et al., 2012; Rudes, Lerch, & Taxman, 2011). This study expands upon prior work by using survey data from 69 probation staff who completed multiple surveys across 3 years during a period of reform. The study measures longitudinal trajectories of perceptions of organizational climate and attitudes and use related to EBPs. It also seeks to understand what staff, organizational, and training factors predict these changing views and behaviors within staff members over time. This presentation will discuss how these findings can inform other agency efforts to implement EBPs, as well as future research.
