Hate crime rates across the U.S. have increased consistently from 2019-2022, with anti-Black Bias contributing to most killings in 2022. While far-right and biased beliefs can expose believers to biased violence, many do not participate in extreme biased violence. The current study examines the presence of latent profiles within a white, U.S. sample based on the following indicators: Anti-Black Racist Attitudes, Anti-Gay Bias, Perceived Replacement Threat, Psychopathy, Right-Wing Authoritarianism, Social Dominance Orientation, and Violent Behavioral Intentions. We predict that we will identify four profiles: Profile A: Low across all measures, Profile B: High across all measures, Profile C: Below average across all measures, and Profile D: Above average across all measures. Four hundred and ten participants who identified as white U.S. residents completed self-report questionnaires of all variables. We will perform a latent profile analysis to identify and describe the ideal number of profiles and run post-hoc analyses to test for covariates. Identified latent profiles and results from post hoc analyses will be discussed. Understanding how the listed constructs relate to one another within individuals may allow us to observe how these traits naturally group in white Americans and gain further insight into intrinsic mechanisms contributing to biased aggression.
