The panel concludes with the Build and Broaden team researchers and graduate students from Morgan State University, West Virginia University, the CUNY College of Staten Island, and members of the community (i.e. PAR Liaisons) who discuss the time, energy, and commitment to helping to make Baltimore city neighborhoods safer and stronger, through participatory action research focused on reimagining policing. The authors reflect on transforming policing within communities based on an examination of new practices to build a strong neighborhood mandate.
