Abstract

Director Hidalgo will provide a historical overview of VAWA, its reauthorizations, and implementation highlights over the past 30 years. She will describe how OVW’s research and evaluation program was developed and summarize relevant evidence generated from the program on what works to advance VAWA’s goals, as well as ongoing opportunities to expand evaluation and research in this field.
