Consensus on Defining Problematic Sexual Behaviors (PSBs)

Abstract

A significant body of literature exists outlining the prevalence and response to youth problematic sexual behavior (PSB). That said, little attention has been paid to ensure that the concepts referred to in these works are actually the same. Our research team identified 66 definitions throughout publications and sought to identify common and uncommon themes utilized in order to begin the conversation in developing a consensus around what defines a PSB.
