Youth Cannabis Users in Norwey: An Exploration of the Latent Classes

Abstract

This paper examines a nationally representative sample extracted from the Young in Norway (UNGDATA 2021 and 2022) Surveys (N=98,537- 49% male, 51% female, all high school students). Using Latent Class Analysis, we identified subgroups of the cannabis users. This information is useful for developing effective intervention and prevention strategies addressing the specific risk factors varying across the heterogeneous group of users.
