There is new interest in research and technical assistance involving America’s jails, and important lessons to be learned regarding how to best support data analysis in jails and successfully conduct research in these dynamic operational environments. This roundtable explores issues that bridge across capacity building for analysis inside jails and successfully conducting research about jails. Jail researchers and technical assistance providers affiliated with the BJA/NIC Jails and Justice Support Center will discuss topics relevant to these issues with several colleagues and interested attendees.
