Fixing Broken Policing: Future Challenges and Potential Solutions

Abstract

This session provides attendees the opportunity to discuss potential solutions to policing issues related to excessive use of force, corruption, and harassment in the workplace. We will discuss technological solutions and challenges as well as administrative, legal and policy-related. We will also look to other countries and evidence-based solutions that have been successful and discuss their applications to other jurisdictions.
