Session Submission Type: Complete Thematic Panel
Sex and labor trafficking victims across demographics, industries in which they are victimized, and areas of the U.S. have unique support needs to promote healing and recovery. This panel presents results from three NIJ-funded projects. The first examines the needs of labor trafficking survivors in the construction and hospitality industries. The second examines the physical and psychological health and wellness needs of minor sex trafficking survivors, including their ability to access supportive services. The third presentation discusses the validation of a survivor outcome measurement instrument that can be used to measure the effectiveness of victim services in meeting the needs of human trafficking survivors.
