Session Submission Type: Complete Thematic Panel
This panel brings together a group of doctoral students working on police-related research. Students will present the work produced as part of a doctoral-level policing course. The topics presented as part of this panel range from youth and community perceptions of the police, and how perceptions may impact interest in pursuing a career in policing. Theoretical explanations for police deviance will also be discussed. This panel aims to provide doctoral students with a platform to present and develop their research interests.
