This panel explores various types of digital deception, including financial fraud and romance scams. Through a comprehensive analysis of trends and behaviors in the realm of cybercrime, the panel focuses on the evolving tactics used by fraudsters to exploit individuals and organizations. Discussions will highlight key patterns, such as the rise of check fraud and compromised bank accounts, as well as gift card fraud and the manipulation of emotional vulnerabilities in romance scams. Furthermore, panelists will discuss the implications of these trends for law enforcement and stakeholders.
